Biography
Elly B, born Elton Brown was an innate music maker even as a toddler. Whether on the drums or xylophone he was masterful. His musical journey had him playing music at church from as young as ten years old. His musical feats saw him achieving a grade-six level in classical piano at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. He represented Jamaica and won first place in 2012 at The Global Battle of the Bands with his band “Di Blue Print” as guitarist and lead singer.
Elly B describes his music as an eclectic blend of Reggae, Dancehall, RnB and Rock, and endorses the notion “where words fail music speaks as music is the evolution of man”.
Elly B is a son of the soil hailing from the parish of St. Thomas, and then moved to Kingston at the age of seven where he attended Calabar primary school then completed his secondary education at St. George’s College after which he moved on to Edna Manley School of music.
Elly B currently spends most of his days and night in the studio writing songs, making music and music videos,
He is continuously in the process of preparing quality uplifting music for his ever growing fan base. This is the journey of a unique Reggae & Dancehall recording artist and musician.
